Changing product names in Cogsy
What does the "Change name" option do on Products in Cogsy?
On some SKUs synced over to Cogsy, you would see a "Change name" button, as shown below:
This appears in cases where multiple product listings in Shopify share the same SKU code that's synced to Cogsy. In such cases, we auto-merge all product listing under the SKU code and then give you the option to change the product name within Cogsy.
Please note that if you are tracking your inventory on each of these product listings, our merge duplicates them on the SKU code and you might have to adjust the inventory tracked on the duplicated products in Shopify accordingly so that the "units on hand" number in Cogsy doesn't get inflated.
